I too have been thinking about and working on my personal info cloud. I think it is working now even though it is not perfect. You can take a look at it, fastblogit.com … you can even try it out for yourself. This platform, unlike a portal, allows one to bring information and knowledge closer in to one’s self and to one’s community. You do that by posting items and tagging them. The tagging is important because otherwise you won’t be able to find your items as needed. I use it now to remember all of the facts that are necessary for my enterprises.
