Big Kudos for trying to wrap some thought around this. Clearly it’s not about the tools. Indeed the tools have way too much focus by showing up at all on the diagram (my opinion). This just feeds the continued misunderstanding by those most guilty.

And yes, while all the other stuff is relevant, that’s not the focus. It’s far more simple than that. Need – Result, Shortest distance between. Thinking through these tools from an ‘implementation’ perspective is just wrong. USING the tools for a specific solution is not — e.g. framing a template/governance via a wiki tool.

They’re all tools. Until someone has ‘customized’ it for a specific task…it’s still just raw materials. A wiki is a raw material not a finished product.
