It is worth looking at Socialcast and Socialtext Signals.But, there is a large set of tool foundations for social flows, social information use and reuse, as well as what are the progressions of needs that will stem from use. Knowing what the needs are so to better see gaps and assess whether tools or services fill those and what potential pain points will follow is really important.
