Thomas, thank you for writing about such an important, yet all too common issue. I wish vendors would remember that while “being social” is all the rage, people also care about their own content. It’s unfortuate how many products don’t allow people to even see (nor find, search, filter, etc) the objects they have favourited. ex: In Goolge+ I can’t see the things I’ve +1’d. In Facebook I can go back and see the things I’ve Liked. I wish designers understood the importance of “me” in social software.
