There once was a large competitive fish in a small lake. It was rather aggressive and ate smaller fish whenever it had the opportunity to do so. Soon the large fish died because it couldn’t find any more food. Awwww.My point is that learning and balance are essential to the survival of populations. The individual must learn to cooperate and the groups must share lessons learned from generation to generation. Perhaps some of it is baked into an organization’s DNA.
